Keeping in mind that there will be more to come - here are the first set of pictures from the wedding and the reception. With thanks to Phil's cousin Chris.

FIVE DAYS AND COUNTING
We are down to the final five days before the BIG EVENT. Here is a little more information about our wedding.
The celebrant of the wedding mass is Father Tom Skindeleski. Father Tom was Phil's religion teacher and class master at St. Mary's Prep in Orchard Lake, Michigan. It is often said that God works in mysterious ways and this is one of those times. Initially, we had no idea who would perform the sacrament of Matrimony. However, after not seeing Father Tom for over twenty-five years, he became pastor at St. Vincent Ferrer late last year. We are grateful for all of his help.
John Bolinski and Rob Bolinki (both ushers, both Phil's nephews) will server as lectures. Marlene & Chuck McGowan and Louise & Fred Bukowski will be presenting the gifts.
Cindy's daughters, Tiffany and Crystal will be brides maids. Cheri Leahy, Cindy's sister, will serve as Matron of Honor. The best man is Rich Prieto.

TIME CHANGE!!!
Oops! We seem to have scheduled our Marriage Ceremony at St. Vincent Ferrer and the same time as their First Holy Communion Mass. With the help of the pastor (and my High School Religion teacher and class mastor) Fr. Tom Skindeleski, we have been able to reschedule the mass to 11:30 on the same day. The reception will be delayed by thirty minutes to 12:30 PM.

RESPONSES AND REGISTRY
The invitations have been sent and the responses are coming in. We've had some pleasant surprises - some relatives whom we did not expect to make the trip, will be attending.
Also, we've had some reports that our registry at JC Penney was not accessible. We think we know the reason for this issue - we are registered as Phil Bukowski and Cindy Duke (not Philip and Cynthia). In any case, the correct link to our registry is:

WILLIAM ALFRED BUKOWSKI (1952-2006)
For those of you who may not know, last Friday, March 24, 2006, Phil's brother, Bill, was found dead in his home in North Hollywood, California. Tragically, he died in his bedroom earlier in the week, after falling and hitting his head.
As per his wishes, Bill will be cremated. His ashes will be interred at The Shrine Of Our Lady Of Czestochowa, in Doylestown, PA.
Bill had been planning to attend our wedding and his presence will be greatly missed. We ask that you remember him in your prayers.
For more about Bill, please see The Big Bukowski.

WE'LL BE LIVING AT THE ENCLAVE IN DELRAY BEACH
We've decided to live at The Enclave, in Delray Beach. Those of you who attended our engagement party in December (or have visited Phil in the past) are familiar with the complex. Phil has lived in the community since December of 2000. Our new place (a three bedroom townhouse) will be around the corner from Phil's current residence.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY
In 1904, a fire began in Baltimore that raged for about 30 hours and destroyed more than 1,500 buildings.
In 1906, 100 years ago, Pu Yi, the last emperor of China, was born in Beijing.
In 1936, President Roosevelt authorized a flag for the office of the vice president.
In 1944, during World War II, the Germans launched a counteroffensive at Anzio, Italy.
In 1964, The Beatles began their first American tour as they arrived at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport.
And finally, also in 1964, Marlene & Chuck McGowan celebrated the birth of their first daughter, Cynthia.
Happy Birthday, Cindy!!!!
